Wonderful Precure continues again this week and I'm writing once again an extremely disjointed thoughts post. I now write these during my watch so they are even more disjointed this time. This is not a review once again, so please keep that in mind. Let's get onto it.
It seems like Iroha adopted Komugi when she was seemingly abandoned.
I really liked that as someone who has preferred rescue animals instead of "bought" ones ever since my family got 2 rescue dogs.
OH god now Komugi can speak. She developed vocal chords.
Seems like we are establishing Iroha as a... really bad liar. (Or maybe its just around Satoru)
Interesting how every animal seems to be able to sense whenever a Garugaru appears. I think animals are more sensitive to various stuff so maybe that's it. Of course I could be wrong.
Considering if Komugi was abandoned, that could explain her separation anxiety in Episode 1 since it seems she had that. It's just my experience but rescue dogs tend to be more like that. Normal dogs can be too but eh. Just a thought.
I didn't think it was possible but Friendy's transformation was shorter than Wonderful's. (Or at least it felt that way.) It was really smooth but it feels... off. Unless they're planning on duo transformations or for 6 cures for the whole season it's just... Odd. At least for now. It's probably because there's like 20 seconds of just "set-up" and not much transforming after.
(Also it seems like the animation paused just before the cut from the transformation. Error perhaps?)
It's quite interesting how they seem to really be avoiding combat with this season. Although it does make sense. Since the monsters are animals in pain, it would not be a good message to give to kids. (Precure's target audience is 3-6 year olds.)
I do know that Wonderful and Friendy get a finished though so I wonder how that goes.
A kind of a cliffhanger ending there.
A fine episode overall I think... I enjoyed it. Next week we'll be seeing this "Niko Garden".
